What is Your Communication Style Costing You?

Peace of mind? Relationships? Time? Money? Emotional energy?

What happens when you do not speak your truth? Or you speak up without considering the impact?

Not speaking up often costs us peace of mind and clarity. Doing so without consideration also costs friend and family time.

I see the high cost. I recognize the time and emotional energy exhausted, and the trust and respect at stake. It may mean people spending thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars on lawyers, mediators, and court actions. Conflict impacts morale, productivity, and relationships, and the bottom line.

Imagine seeing an issue, addressing it, and finding a resolution without shutting down, being aggressive, or using courts, mediators, or lawyers. While many people retain my mediation services to prevent talking through attorneys, I also enjoy helping you gain the confidence and tools to have those conversations on your own.

It begins with clarity. This includes being clear about 1) what you make something mean (and what others think it means) , 2) your underlying needs (and the needs of everyone else involved), and 3) whether the chosen actions help you obtain the result you seek.

Whenever I facilitate a Connective Communication workshop for a business, group, or organization, people tell me how impactful this is for both their personal and professional lives. Now, you may attend this live on-line masterclass.

Before I unraveled these connective communication skills, my communication style cost me relationships, peace of mind, and lots of time and energy. Now, I know how to show up with compassion while being very clear and true to myself.

What is your communication style costing you?  Whether you wish to improve relationships at home, work, or in the community, sign up for the upcoming Connective Communications Masterclass and take your communication to the next level.
